For Postgraduate students
Individual consultations with a maths/stats advisor – A qualified Mathematics/Statistics advisor is available to assist you with specific issues or concerns. ‘Managing Mathematics’ workbook – available from the UNSW bookshop – gives a good review of basic mathematics specifically designed for Business students. The book contains many worked examples as well as problems and solutions.
For Undergraduate students
Peer Assisted Support Scheme (PASS) - In this scheme, undergraduate students are encouraged to attend, on a voluntary basis, small study groups which are run by more experienced students. PASS Groups are offered in Microeconomics 1, Macroeconomics 1, Quantitative Methods A (QMA) and B (QMB), Accounting and Financial Management 1A and 1B.
