Overview

oneASB is an initiative to implement “good business practice” throughout the Australian School of Business by implementing building blocks to deliver a process capability that assists schools and business units within ASB to compete more effectively both locally and globally.

Focus to the end of may is on:

  • The initial Student life cycle phases of recruitment, application & enrolment;
  • Executive Programs (Open Programs);
  • Alumni;
  • Supporting Accreditation processes;
  • A single Web technology, navigational integrity and a common ASB branding.

Core to the oneASB change program is to:

  • Maximise ASB’s use of core UNSW systems and infrastructure;
  • Reduce the number of discrete ASB program based business services and supporting technologies whilst not affecting ASB programs competitive advantage;
  • Consolidate related business processes and personnel from disparate programs into single functional teams;
  • Ensure that ASB programs retain market service and service level differentiation where appropriate. This is to be achieved, where possible, through the use of common oneASB processes and technologies;
  • Manage ASB data more effectively.
